1. The 30-day window
If you're not happy with Ketpy Book within 30 days of your first paid subscription, request a refund and we'll process it โ no questions, no clawback.
2. How to request a refund
- Sign in โ Settings โ Billing โ Cancel subscription.
- Select "Request refund" and pick a reason (optional but appreciated for our roadmap).
- You'll receive a confirmation email within 1 hour.
- Refund hits your original payment method within 7 working days (Razorpay processing time).
3. Eligibility
- First paid subscription only โ refunds don't apply to renewals (you'll have used the product for a full year by then).
- Refund covers the subscription fee + applicable GST.
- Add-on purchases (extra users, email packs, storage) are non-refundable.
- If we suspended your account for ToS violation, you're not eligible.
4. After refund
- Account moves to Cancelled status; data retained 90 days for restoration if you change your mind.
- You can re-subscribe anytime โ your data is restored at the click of a button.
- If you don't re-subscribe within 90 days, data is permanently deleted (audit log retained 7 years per Companies Act).
5. Pro-rata refunds (mid-year cancellation)
If you cancel after the 30-day window on an annual plan, no pro-rata refund is given for the unused months โ but your subscription stays active until the end of the paid period.
6. Disputes
If your refund hasn't arrived after 7 working days, email team@ketpy.com with your invoice number. We'll investigate within 24 hours and escalate to Razorpay if needed.
