By using Ketpy Book (the "Service"), operated by Ketpy ("we", "us"), you ("you", "Customer") agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Ketpy Book is a multi-tenant cloud invoicing & GST accounting platform. Features available depend on your subscription tier (Lite or Pro), as described on the Pricing page.
2. Account & security
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password secure.
- We mandate 6-digit OTP email verification on signup. We strongly recommend enabling additional 2FA (Pro).
- You may not share login credentials. Each user on Pro must have their own seat.
3. Subscription & billing
- Subscriptions are billed annually (or monthly on the alternate billing cycle), via Razorpay, in INR with GST.
- Auto-renewal is opt-in — controlled from Settings → Billing.
- Failed payments enter a 7-day grace period; non-payment after grace causes account suspension.

4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass technical controls.
- Use the Service for unlawful invoicing (sham invoices, fake GST, money laundering).
- Upload malicious files or send spam through our email infrastructure.
- Resell the Service or create derivative SaaS products without our written consent (see Partners).
5. Your data
You retain full ownership of all business data you create or upload. We process it on your behalf solely to provide the Service. See Privacy Policy for details.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, the Ketpy Book brand, the source code, and the documentation are owned by Ketpy You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service while your subscription is active.
7. Service availability & SLA
We target 99.9% monthly uptime. Status reported transparently. Scheduled maintenance announced ≥48 hours in advance via in-app banner. We are not liable for downtime caused by force majeure, third-party outages (Razorpay, GSTN portal), or your network connectivity.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages (loss of profits, business interruption, lost data — though we maintain backups).
9. Indemnification
You indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or from incorrect data you've entered (e.g. fraudulent invoicing).
10. Termination
You may terminate at any time via Settings → Billing → Cancel. We may terminate for material breach (e.g. unlawful use) with 7 days notice, or immediately for severe abuse. On termination, your data is retained 90 days for restoration, then deleted.
11. Governing law & jurisdiction
Indian law. Courts at Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
12. Changes to these terms
Material changes notified via in-app banner + email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
